ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly will host the second general conference of the Parliamentary Assembly of Economic Cooperation Organization (PAECO) on Tuesday (June 1) Islamabad.
The speakers and parliamentarians from the ECO Parliaments will attend the event on the invitation of National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser. Wolsi Jirga of Afghanistan Speaker Mir Rehman Rahmani, Mili Majlis of Azerbaijan Speaker Sahiba Gafarova, Supreme Council of Kyrgyz Republic Speaker Talant Mamytov, Majlisi Oli of Tajikistan Chairman Zokirzoda Mahmodthohir, Grand National Assembly of Turkey Speaker Mustafa Sentop, Majlis Oli of Uzbekistan Speaker Ismoilov Nurdinjoin and Mynbay Darkhan as head of the delegation of the House of Representatives of Kazakhstan to attend the conference.

Shahid Khaqan Abbasi s threat to NA speaker disgraced the House, Sadaqat Abbasi said.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) Sadaqat Abbasi has on Wednesday demanded Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi to apologize to National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser.
Sadaqat Abbasi held a press conference along with Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Political Communication Dr. Shahbaz Gill and said Shahid Khaqan’s act was immoral and undemocratic which has hurt PTI. The PML-N leader’s threat to NA speaker disgraced the House, he added.
Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif may be named adviser to CM

NOWSHERA: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cabinet is likely to undergo changes in the near future, sources said.
The sources privy to the development told The News that a former senator from Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif, who has joined the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), is likely to be named the adviser on information to Chief Minister Mahmood Khan.
It was learnt that the chief minister has consulted Prime Minister Imran Khan for giving this responsibility to Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif as he wants him to highlight the reforms being undertaken by the KP government in various sectors.
