Wabtec’s (NYSE: WAB) battery-electric locomotive reduces a train’s fuel consumption by an average 11%, the Pittsburgh-headquartered rail equipment manufacturer and technology provider said Monday.

Biden EPA Urged to Set Climate Pollution Cap
Push Follows Renewed EPA Consideration of National Greenhouse Gas Limit
WASHINGTON The Center for Biological Diversity and 350.org urged the Environmental Protection Agency today to set a nationwide greenhouse gas pollution cap under the Clean Air Act.
Last month the EPA reopened consideration of the measure when it withdrew the Trump administration’s denial of a petition by the two groups, noting that “the agency did not fully and fairly assess the issues raised by the petition.”
In today’s letter, the groups say the urgency of the climate crisis has only grown since they petitioned the agency in 2009 to use its full powers under the Clean Air Act to list greenhouse gases as “criteria pollutants” and set a nationwide emissions cap in the form of a National Ambient Air Quality Standard.

It’s not a stretch to say that 2020 will go down in history as a year like no other and in response to the challenges, National Cotton Ginners Association (NCGA), as well as other gin associations, shifted to virtual meetings and disseminated COVID-19 information to member gins.
Due to the efforts of both the NCGA and member gins, work has continued with only a few reported COVID-19 cases. This lack of gin-borne outbreaks is testimony to the work done by the associations and by our ginners in the implementation of policies, as outlined in the Centers for Disease Control guidance.
