The National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 said that 7,173 persons were undergoing quarantine at 83 centres belonging to the tri-forces as at this morning.
Another group of expatriates from Qatar and Saudi Arabia were brought to the island this morning, National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) sources said. Accordingly, 75 from Saudi Arabia and 29 from Qatar are among those expatriates and all of them will be sent to Quarantine Centres, managed by tri forces for necessary quarantine process.
The isolation status of several areas in Beruwala Police Division and Kalutara Police Division were lifted with immediate effect , announced the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak.
