A group that started bailing out protesters after the uprising last summer is now on the ground in Brooklyn Center following the police shooting that killed Daunte Wright.
The Minnesota Freedom Fund received widespread attention after the death of George Floyd.
âWe need to be able to do George Floyd justice, as well as all of the members of our community who are oppressed, who are harmed, because these systems of oppression exist still,â said Mirella Ceja-Orozco, Co-Executive Director of the Minnesota Freedom Fund.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. Police released new evidence Tuesday in the case against a woman accused of shooting a Jacksonville Sheriff s Officer multiple times.
Police body-worn camera footage shows the woman, Diamonds Ford, and her boyfriend, Anthony Gantt, being taken into custody following the non-fatal shooting in September 2020. You can view that bodycam video below.
