Seven Northern Oklahoma College employees have retired this fall, including two from the Enid campus.
The retirees include Amy Foss, Tonkawa; Raydon Leaton, Enid; Cindy Fox, Tonkawa; Dr. Cathy Moore, Tonkawa; Renee Lee, Tonkawa; Fritz Osell, Enid; and Tom Ellis, Tonkawa.
âThese seven individuals have shared the best of themselves with our students and institution and have truly made a difference in the lives of hundreds of people,â NOC President Cheryl Evans said in a press release. âWe will miss them on campus, but wish them the very best in the next chapter of their lives. They will always be part of the Northern family.â

The Lackawanna College standout created quite a buzz Wednesday on National Signing Day by flipping from the University of Georgia and committing to Jackson State University, which is coached by Deion Sanders.
âThis has been an amazing experience for me,â Warren said in an Instagram post announcing his decision. âIâm just a kid from Landover, Maryland, whoâs chasing his dream. After given the chance, I couldnât pass up on the opportunity to be coached amongst the greats. With over 45 years of experience, I think I found the home for me. Without any further ado, itâs time to party at JSU. Iâm committed to Jackson State University. Get ready.â
Reigning All-Area MVP Malia Cabigon announces college choice [Santa Maria Times, Calif.]
Dec. 9 Malia Cabigon, a class of 2021 Righetti High hoops standout, announced her college choice this weekend.
Cabigon, the reigning Santa Maria Times All-Area MVP, said on twitter that she’ll be playing for Eastern Arizona College.
The Monsters are a top National Junior College Athletic Association program located in Thatcher, Arizona.
“After four years of thought and trying to figure out the next step after high school, I am finally ready to announce that I will be spending the next 1-2 years at Eastern Arizona College,” Cabigon posted on Twitter. “Huge thank you to everyone who has supported and has been with me throughout the whole recruiting process and those who will continue to, I’m not done yet.”
