University identifies 65 people in COVID-19 contact tracing 04/26/2021 12:22 PM CNA file photo Taipei, April 26 (CNA) National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (Taiwan Tech) said Sunday it had traced 65 students and teachers who had possibly had contact with three infected COVID-19 people at a recent mosque gathering. All 65 people, most of them students, have been asked to stay in isolation and observe self-health management, according to a Taiwan Tech spokesperson. The contact tracing was carried out after Taiwan health authorities were informed on April 21 that a pilot with the country s major carrier China Airlines (CAL) had tested positive for COVID-19 in Australia, a few days after he attended a religious gathering in Taipei, the spokesperson said.
