New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah arrived at Delhi Police Headquarters on Monday to chair a review meeting on the issue of police modernisation as well as to launch an application for the safety of the corona warriors in the Delhi Police. Shah is also slated to meet plasma donors.
Addressing the gathering, Shah said, 2020 was a challenging year for all, even for Delhi Police. Be it Northeast Delhi violence, COVID-19 lockdown, helping migrant workers or establishing peaceful talks with protesting farmers at borders, Delhi Police faced every challenge with immense grit.
