A summit to discuss women s economic security and safety will be held in Darwin in July, Prime Minister Scott Morrison has announced.
Mr Morrison said the proposal by Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk that the meeting should bring together all initiatives and spending by the Federal Government, as well as the states and territories, was warmly received by himself, the premiers and chief ministers. No single government has full carriage of the issues that impact on women s safety, Mr Morrison said.
