Get B.B. Italia dishes at Fair Food Co. while the restaurant shuts down and moves.
Popular Energy Corridor restaurant B.B. Italia Kitchen & Bar is moving and, for the moment, closing. According to an announcement Monday from Berg Hospitality Group, B.B Italia will temporarily close and, in about three months, will reopen at a location to be revealed.
You may remember that before B.B. Italia, the space was occupied by Carmelo s Cucina Italiana. It opened in 2019 along with an in-house pizzeria called B.B. Pizza.
200 seniors displaced as crews repair apartment complex damaged by fire

YPSILANTI TWP., MI – Two hundred Ypsilanti Township seniors were displaced from their apartments Monday afternoon when fire broke out in one unit.
Fire crews were called to National Church Residences Clark East Tower Senior Apartments, 1550 E. Clark Road, at 12:18 p.m. Feb. 15, for a reported fire in an apartment on the sixth floor of the seven-story building, according to the Ypsilanti Township Fire Department.
Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the blaze, restricting it to the apartment of origin and preventing it from spreading, officials said.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire remians under investigation, officials said.
