It is now up to Justice Cecil McCarthy to render his verdict. Hanging in the balance is tomorrow’s elections for the NUPW as McDowall is seeking to have his suspension set aside and the elections postponed by two weeks in order to give him an opportunity to prepare to contest a third term in office.
