Cebu (CNN Philippines, December 18) - Cebu Archbishop Jose Palma appealed to end the killings following the unsolved murder of two lawyers in the province, which both happened in less than a month.
“We have no right at all to take law into our hands, to kill anybody whom we think has done something wrong against us or something,” he told reporters on Friday. “We have the law and we should respect the law.”

Macatangay said witnesses at the crime scene saw the white van speeding off after the two assailants gunned down Ole.
Ole was on her way to Liloan town after attending a hearing when she was gunned down in Barangay Looc, Danao City on Thursday, Dec. 17, 2020.
That may be a facetious sentence but given Red fronts’ expertise in deception and in using our democratic and legal systems to advance their armed insurgency, that term best describes the recent brilliant move of the National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-Elcac).
It’s been an open secret that one of the Communist Party’s source of funds has been through its front organizations, masquerading as crusading NGOs, which easily fool gullible bleeding-heart liberals especially in Europe to donate substantial amounts of money to them.
An SOP in fact was for an NGO to have the same project funded by several foreign entities each of which aren’t aware of the other funders.

In a statement, Trillanes said the communication they filed in June 2017 adopted and supplemented the one earlier filed by lawyer Jude Sabio in April of the same year. Together, these two communications formed the primary basis for the ICC’s initiation of its preliminary examination in February 2018, he said. He claimed that leftist groups and lawyer Rommel Bagares filed theirs only around mid- to late 2018.
