Habib says family will not be able to get any type of NRO this time

Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Farrukh Habib on Saturday said the Sharif family failed to present its sources of income before the national-graft buster National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
Talking to a private news channel, he said the Sharif family always demanded a National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) but this time they would fail to get any type of NRO.
The minister said Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif was the guarantor of PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif and now he also wants to flee the country, adding that Sharif went abroad for medical treatment but was never admitted to any hospi tal in London.

Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday said that he had not done injustice with estranged PTI leader Jahangir Khan Tareen, while also denying that he had given an NRO (National Reconciliation Ordinance) to Tarin who is facing an inquiry by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) related to the sugar scam.
He made the comments while responding to a caller on the Apka Wazeer-e-Azam Apke Saath programme during which he took telephone calls from citizens.
The premier said that Tareen claimed he was a victim of injustice. I have never done any injustice with anyone. When I haven t done it with any of my opponents, how will I do it with Jahangir Tareen?

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan on Thursday has claimed that opposition parties only want National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO).
While addressing a ceremony at Raiwind after performing groundbreaking of a housing project under Punjab Peri Urban Low Housing scheme, the premier said that opposition parties established Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) which turned out to be a failed union.
Those who ruled the country for 30 years are not ready to be made accountable, he added.
PM Imran further said government is emphasizing on the housing sector to achieve higher growth and provide job opportunities to the people.

Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday said the notion of elite and the prevailing mindset that Pakistan only belonged to a particular class was regrettable.
The premier s remarks came during a launch ceremony of the Punjab peri-urban housing project for low-income groups in Raiwind. The government is focusing on equitable distribution of resources by ensuring basic amenities of life for all, PM Imran said. No nation could prosper with an island of rich and a big sea of poor.
LAHORE: PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif has rejected the proposal of introducing electronic voting, arguing that the system has been snubbed throughout the world, while Federal Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry urges the opposition leader in the National Assembly to first read the electoral reforms proposals before refusing to accept them.
“The electronic voting system has been rejected by the entire world and the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has declared it as impractical,” Shehbaz said in response to the reforms proposed by Prime Minister Imran Khan. “The system of a country cannot be changed over the whims of a single person.”
