Union Minister for Education Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank on Wednesday will announce the schedule for JEE main exam 2021. The announcement will be made at 6 pm today.
The Minister said that he will also inform about the number of attempts for the engineering entrance test. Thank you all for sharing your constructive suggestions regarding JEE (main) exams. We have got your suggestions examined. I will be announcing the schedule, the number of times the exam will be held at 6 PM today. Stay tuned, said the Education Minister in a video message posted on the micro-blogging site Twitter.
The first session of JEE Main 2021 will be conducted from February 23 to 26, followed by rounds in March, April and May, and the JEE Main result 2021 will be declared within five days from the last day of exams, announced Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank on Wednesday. From the next academic year, JEE Main will be held in multiple shifts - February, March, April and May. The JEE-Mains exam for admission to engineering colleges will be held four times a year starting 2021 to offer flexibility to students and a chance to improve their scores, according to Union Education Minister. Students can appear in all the four sessions, and their best score in JEE Main 2021 will be considered as final. The first shift of JEE Main examination will be from 9 am to 12 pm while the second will be from 3 pm to 6 pm.

JEE Main 2021: Soon after the release of the JEE Main Information Brochure on Tuesday, the Union Education Ministry has clarified the dates for JEE Main 2021 exams have yet not been finalised. The complete brochure for JEE Main 2021 date was earlier released by the NTA on its official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. However, now the same has been withdrawn. As per the earlier brochure, JEE Mains were to be held in multiple shifts- February, March, April and May.
Meanwhile, Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank has said he would announce the schedule, number of times the JEE Main exam will be held, at 6 pm today.Â

The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Tuesday released the notification for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2021 on its official website at - jeemain.nta.nic.in, but withdrew it hours later. As per the brochure, from the next academic year, JEE Main will be held in multiple shifts- February, March, April and May.
According to the Education Ministry, there has been no decision on dates yet for the Joint Entrance Exam or JEE Main 2021.
