Journalists should be very careful and responsible, when they report COVID-19 infected persons, former Government Information Director General and Senior Journalist Dr. Ranga Kalansooriysa said during an awareness programme for provincial journalists in the Kalutara District. It has been organised to mark the World AIDS Day at the National Institute of Health Science (NIHS) in Kalutara on December 14. Dr.Kalansooriya said that he opposed the way that some media report corona affected persons, “Why do they show the faces of those affected individuals? Showing their faces is unethical, and it violates their privacy,” he said
