Portugal has today registered two deaths related to Covid-19 and 874 new cases of infection with the new coronavirus, the highest value since the beginning of March, according to the Directorate-General for Health (DGS).
The data presented today reflect the delay in integrating 599 positive laboratory reports that were reported over the weekend.
The DGS epidemiological bulletin reveals that 504 patients are hospitalised (32 fewer than on Monday), the lowest since September 19, the day 497 people were hospitalised.
In intensive care, Portugal today has 113 patients, plus one compared to Monday, the lowest figure since October 7, the day 104 people were hospitalised in these units.

Portugal today recorded 11 deaths related to Covid-19 and 592 new cases of infection with the new coronavirus, according to the Directorate General of Health (DGS).
It is the second day in which the number of new cases is around 600, a number above the usual in recent weeks.
The epidemiological bulletin of the DGS reveals that 538 patients are hospitalised (20 less than on Wednesday), the lowest since 21 September, when 518 people were hospitalised.
In intensive care, Portugal has 129 patients today, two more than on Wednesday.
The data also reveals that 702 people have been reported recovered, bringing the total number since the start of the pandemic in Portugal in March 2020 to 778,912.
