bird flu was reported recently. The test results for some areas of
Maharashtra were found to be positive. However, the Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying has advised not to panic and believe in rumours.

The sample of a dead crow from Delhi s Red Fort has returned positive for bird flu and orders have been issued to restrict the entry of public into the monument, officials said today.
Around 15 crows were found dead in the premises of Red Fort on January 10. A sample from a dead bird was sent to a Jalandhar-based laboratory for testing, Rakesh Singh, the director of the Delhi government s animal husbandry department, said.

A sample of a dead crow found in Red Fort in Old Delhi has tested positive for bird flu and orders were sent out to restrict the entry of visitors into the monument from Tuesday till January 26, reported PTI, citing authorities. Around 15 dead crows were found dead in the premises of the monument on January 10.
