In the fall, Amelie would return to school for the first time since the start of the pandemic. But when Gueorguieva, a World Bank senior economist who lives in the District of Columbia, asked her doctor when children in D.C. would be immunized, she learned that there are no vaccines yet available for kids her daughter s age, and none on the horizon.

Biden s team lacks a confirmed Health and Human Services secretary and surgeon general. And the president has yet to name permanent heads for the Food and Drug Administration, which approves vaccines, or the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, which administers the government s two large health programs for elderly, disabled and low-income people. Other roles are also unfilled.

Wisconsin Senate overturns statewide mask mandate as Fauci doubles down on masks

https://www.afinalwarning.com/492432.html (Natural News) The Wisconsin State Senate has overturned a mask mandate ordered by its governor. The state senators voted on Jan. 26 to repeal the mask-wearing order of Gov. Tony Evers. The governor’s order took effect in August 2020, and was originally set to expire in March this year. Republicans in the Wisconsin legislature had been fighting the measure for months now, calling it an overreach of the governor’s powers. The senators voted 18-13 to repeal Evers’ mandate, which was implemented amid the ongoing Wuhan coronavirus pandemic. Two GOP members joined Democrats in the Wisconsin senate in an unsuccessful effort to strike down the anti-mask resolution. About two dozen health groups had lobbied against scrapping the mask-wearing order, including the Wisconsin Medical Society. They argued that masks were a necessity until such time the Wuhan coronavirus vaccine is widely administered.

Dr. Fauci has been at the forefront of the United State’s battle against COVID-19 since the virus arrived last winter, and since then, a new generation has quickly become familiar with the man previously known for his work during the AIDS epidemic.
