Hailing from Surat, Kruti Dharaiya - who graduated from the National Institute of Technology, Surat this June - clinched the champion s trophy from 70,097 women technologists at TechGig Geek Goddess 2020 recently.
Earlier this year, she won the top woman coder trophy - Code Diva - at the Guinness World Record holder event TechGig Code Gladiators 2020 in August!

Samsung to offer 150 scholarships for technology students in India Wednesday 16 December 2020 | 04:18 CET | News Samsung has announced it will offer 150 scholarships to Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya students starting a full term course in an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) or a National Institute of Technology (NIT) for academic year 2020/21, under the 5th edition of its Star Scholar programme. Each year, Samsung offers scholarships to outstanding students from JNVs who pursue full term courses from these engineering colleges. The application period for the academic year 2020/21 is open until 5 January 2021.

Double PG degree holder tries his hand at a second stint in Aranthodu GP
A double post-graduate science degree holder, Shivanand K., who had won the election to the Aranthodu Gram Panchayat in Sullia taluk, Dakshina Kannada, five years ago and became panchayat vice-president later, is trying his hand at a second stint in the gram panchayat elections this time.
He filed his nomination papers for the December 27 elections from Aranthodu Ward II on Tuesday.
Mr. Shivanand, who had obtained his M.Tech in Materials Engineering from the National Institute of Technology-Karnataka (NIT-K), Surathkal, and M.Sc in Materials Science from Mangalore University more than one-and-half-decades ago, later became a full-time agriculturist.
