Slovenia s COVID-19 situation continues to improve – EURACTIV com

Of a total of 2,620 PCR coronavirus tests performed in Slovenia on Saturday, 478, or 18.2%, came back with a positive result figures from the National Institute of Public Health showed.   The pandemic is now slightly subsiding, with the seven-day average of confirmed cases falling for four consecutive days in all regions.  At the national level, the seven-day average of confirmed infections has fallen below 800 for the first time since 18 March.  The situation continues to improve after some COVID-19 measures were relaxed last week after an 11-day lockdown. However, the number of patients in hospitals is stagnating and remains relatively high at 631, 153 of whom are in intensive care units. The number of active cases has dropped below 12,000, and the seven-day rolling average of daily infections has decreased to 795. 

Another 75,267 people vaccinated against COVID in last 24 hours

Sursa foto: Facebook The National Committee on immunizing against COVID (CNCAV) informs on Monday that in the last 24 hours there were 75,267 vaccine doses administered, among which 57,020 - Pfizer, 10,398 - AstraZeneca and 7,849 - Moderna, according to the data supplied by the National Institute of Public Health, through the National Vaccination Electronic Registry. According to CNCAV, 49,062 people were vaccinated with the first shot, and 26,205 people with the second shot, agerpres.ro confirms. Since the beginning of the vaccination campaign, on December 27, 2020, there were 4,306,981 doses administered to a number of 2,675,872 people, among whom 1,044,763 received one dose and 1,631,109 received the second shot as well.
