On Sunday, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) directed the returning officer of Daska to conduct a complete inquiry over the issue of NA-75 by-poll results.
The Election Commission has received the preliminary report of the returning officer of Daska on the issue of NA-75 by-election results.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Science and Technology, Chaudhry Fawad Hussain Monday said the electronic voting machine developed by the National Institute of Electronics would help getting rid of elections rigging.
Briefing about the electronic voting machine, he said that the machine had two parts. The first part will have election symbols while the second will be with the presiding officer.
Chaudhry Fawad said that only the presiding officer would be able to turn on the machine and voters would be able to cast their vote by clicking on any symbol through the machine.

Once again claiming victory in the by-election at the NA-75 Daska constituency of Sialkot, the ruling PTI on Sunday urged the polls supervisory body – the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) – to announce the result of the by-polls that were marred by violence.
“PTI candidate Ali Asjad Malhi has won the by-election at NA-75 Daska and the ECP should announce the results,” Minister for Information Shibli Faraz said while addressing a press conference at Daska.
Shibli was flanked by Minister for Science Fawad Chaudhry, PTI senior leader Usman Dar, Special Assistant to the Punjab Chief Minister Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan and Asjad Malhi.
