Montgomery: The state has temporarily paused giving the single-dose Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine out of an “abundance of caution” while federal officials investigate reports of rare blood clots, the state health officer announced Tuesday. Dr. Scott Harris cautioned people to remember those were just six incidents out of 6.8 million doses of the J&J vaccine that have been given across the nation. “COVID-19 vaccine safety is a top priority for Alabama. The library system offers multiple children’s programs, a digital library, Wi-Fi, printing, movies, newspapers and magazines.
At each of the 14 branch locations, patrons can donate spare change that goes toward youth programs like story time to-go bags and science crafts, Miller said. The funding stays within the branch that donors give to.
