ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on National Security Dr Moeed Yusuf Saturday said that Pakistan was beginning talks with new US administration on new dimensions to further enhance the bilateral ties and collaborate on global challenges of common interest.
“Our concerns about India will also be put forth to newly elected US president but our prime focus will be on the issues of global health, investment in Pakistan and others”, he said while speaking to state run radio Pakistan’s current Affair programme.

Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on National Security Dr Moeed Yusuf said on Saturday that Pakistan was a country squarely focused on the economic security paradigm, in contrast to India’s Hindutva ideology with an expansionist agenda.
Addressing a webinar titled ‘Indian Chronicles: India s Disinformation Campaign against Pakistan’, organised by the Centre for Aerospace and Security Studies (CASS), the SAPM said India had a conflict with every single neighbour, and fits the classic example of a rogue state.

Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa has expressed hope that Pakistan’s relations with the United States will be further strengthened under the new administration, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Friday.
He made the remarks in a meeting with Acting Charge d’ Affaires Lesslie Viguerie, who called on him at the military’s headquarters in Rawalpindi on Friday.
The meeting comes two days after Democrat Joe Biden was sworn in as the 46th president of the United States.

Prime Minister s Special Assistant on National Security Dr Moeed Yusuf has said Pakistan wants to pursue a bilateral relationship with the US that is not hyphenated or clouded by US interests in other regional countries but is based on mutual understanding.
A day after the Biden inauguration, Dr Moeed addressed a gathering of US policymakers at the Washington-based think tank Wilson Centre titled “US-Pakistan Relations in the Biden Era” on Friday.
Laying out a new vision of Pakistan’s engagement with the incoming Biden administration, Dr Yusuf said that the government wants to pursue a bilateral relationship with the US that is not hyphenated or clouded by US interests in other regional countries but is based on mutual understanding.
