Great news – the Senate just unanimously passed my duck boats bill to impose tough new security measures to help stop tragedies like the one on Table Rock Lake two years ago that took 17 lives The bill has been sponsored by Missouri Senators Roy Blunt, Josh Hawley Arkansas’s Tom Cotton, and Illinois Senator Tammy Duckworth. The Duck Boat Safety Enhancement Act would require safety trainings for crew, more mandated logging before and during trips and could require the Coast Guard to address recommendations from the National Safety Transportation Board.
