Erie dining: Where to go for best outdoor seating and views in region

If there s anything Erie folks like better than going out to eat, it s sitting out while eating. Probably because of our long, harsh winters, we don t want to waste a morsel of warm, sunny breezes by hiding inside. COVID-19 only intensified that inclination, as it dies quickly in sunlight and has a hard time jumping from person to person when we re outdoors. Restauranteurs who didn t have outdoor seating before the pandemic tried bolting it on any way they could, giving us more choices than ever. Here are a few of our favorites now that eating outdoors doesn t require an igloo.

The health and wellness devotees who can’t help but be, well, just a little obnoxious in their unfailing dedication and righteousness. Coors isn’t one of them. But the beer behemoth does want to do better by the planet and by consumers – and reward all of us for trying our best during a challenging time, even if we didn’t PR in our latest 5k and may have had a few too many ‘cheat days’ this month.

Jerry Zezima: This guy s a real card - The Lima News

Jerry Zezima: This guy’s a real card Jerry Zezima If I ever got a job at Hallmark, the greeting card company that helps people express their true feelings on such important occasions as birthdays, anniversaries and holidays like National Beer Day (which is April 7, but for me can be any day), I’d suggest a line of humorous sympathy cards. Like this one: “Violets are blue, Your goldfish is dead.” Now you know why Hallmark would never lower its otherwise high standards to pay me actual money to write greeting cards. But there should be some interest in hiring my wife, Sue, who has started writing her own greetings, which she calls Nini’s Homemade Cards.
