(CCA) â Sunday, June 6, 2021, marks the 10th annual CNMI Cancer Survivors Day Celebration of Life â the day set aside each year to recognize cancer survivors, raise awareness of the ongoing challenges cancer survivors face because of their disease, and celebrate life.
With nearly 17 million people living with and beyond cancer in the U.S. today â and more than 43 million cancer survivors worldwide â everyone knows someone whose life has been touched by cancer. On Sunday, June 6, 2021, people around the world are coming together to acknowledge these cancer survivors, and to raise awareness of the challenges of cancer survivorship, as part of the 34th annual National Cancer Survivors Day.
To honor National Cancer Survivors Day, Cancer Support Community Delaware (CSCDE) is partnering with several local restaurants around the coastal area on Saturday, June 5, and Sunday, June 6, to celebrate cancer survivors and to raise funds for CSCDEâs critical programming in Sussex County for the 6th Annual Crush Out Cancer Weekend.
Participants can visit any or all of these locations and order a signature crush and/or select menu item:
