Groundbreaking was held on Friday, July 9, 2021, for the evacuation center to rise in Sta. Teresita, Batangas. The Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development said two other evacuation centers will rise in the municipalities of Alitagtag and Mataasnakahoy. DHSUD Two new evacuation centers will soon rise in Batangas which can temporarily house Taal evacuees, the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) said on Saturday. This was after groundbreaking for the two centers was held on Friday. The evacuation centers will be located in Barangay Calayaan in the municipality of Sta. Teresita and Barangay San Juan in the municipality of Alitagtag.
