THE Minister for Defence, National Security and Policing, Rural and Maritime Development and Disaster Management, Inia Seruiratu, says media and social media play an important part in their awareness campaigns in the country.
He shared these sentiments while responding to an oral question raised by member of Parliament Jese Saukuru on the role of the National Disaster Management Office (NDMO) in raising awareness and educating Fijians on how to prepare for natural disasters.
