VITM Hà Nội promotes digital transformation The annual Việt Nam International Travel Mart (VITM) attracted more than 300 stalls of tourism enterprises, airlines and tourism service providers from 47 cities and provinces throughout the country and six foreign countries and territories between November 18 and 21. To quickly recover from the damage caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the theme for this year s event was digital transformation for tourism development. It’s estimated that the mart attracted the participation of about 2,000 enterprises, and tens of thousands of people who bought air tickets and tours at the event.

Estimations by the Ministry of Industry and Trade showed Việt Nam would face a shortage of 6.6 billion kWh in 2021, 11.8 billion kWh in 2022 and 13 billion kWh in 2023. It would require a total investment of US$130 billion in new power projects by 2030 to make up for the shortages, equivalent to $12 billion annually.

The play has enthralled both senior residents and youngsters as it is a cool combination of the traditional art form and contemporary art. No fancy stage is set up. Actors perform an excerpt in the renowned Vietnamese classical opera play ‘Son Hau’ in the middle of a public playground. Here, the mossy wall becomes the backdrop while slide and stairs make a perfect setting for the play.
