That number is 2½ times higher than the number of people who died in car accidents.”

People in their vehicles arrived over the course of a short four hours in their respective towns to drop off the unwanted or expired prescription or over-the-counter medication. Personnel from the Fairfield Police Department, Rio Vista Police Department and Dixon Police Department collected the bags and handed them to volunteers.
