KUALA LUMPUR: Covid-19 vaccination mobile units will be activated to vaccinate senior citizens and vulnerable groups who are too frail to go to a vaccination centre.
Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said the group would have to register earlier before the Ministry of Health (MOH) could mobilise the unit for this purpose.
He said the District Health Centres (PKD) would be evaluating the groups to enable efforts to vaccinate them as scheduled under Phase Two of the National COVID-19 Immunisation Programme.

“The same method is also used for the production of vaccines for dangerous diseases such as Polio and Hepatitis A. This technology has proven to be effective compared to other new technologies whose risks are not yet known,” he said when presenting the development of the vaccine virtually, today.
