Share New Delhi: Prime Minister,  Shri Narendra Modi addressed a webinar on effective implementation of Budget provisions regarding the Education sector. Addressing the webinar, the Prime Minister pointed out that to build a self-reliant India, confidence of the youth of the country is equally important. Confidence comes only when the youth has complete faith in their education and knowledge. Confidence comes only when they realize that their studies are giving them the opportunity to do their work and also the necessary skills. He said that the new National Education Policy has been made with this thinking. He stressed the need to implement all the provisions of the National Education Policy from pre-nursery to PhD quickly and said that the Budget will be of immense help in this regard.

(UNI) NEW DELHI, Mar 3: Asserting that the new National Education Policy (NEP) encourages the use of local languages, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday said work needs to be done on a mission mode to overcome linguistic barriers in the education system so that the talent of those from rural areas and the poor is allowed to flourish. Addressing a webinar on the effective implementation of the provisions in the Union Budget for the education sector, Modi said it is the responsibility of the academics and experts of every language to make available the best content in the country and the world in Indian languages.

He emphasised on the need to break language barriers by promoting education in local languages. “There is no dearth of talent in this country,” Modi said during a webinar on Budget provisions for the education sector. “There are students who don’t know any other language apart from their own. We cannot let their talent die. They should not be excluded from the country’s development journey.”
