(CN) has outbid rival Canadian Pacific (CP) in its efforts to buy U.S. railway Kansas City Southern (KSC). As CBC News reports, CN has put forward a cash-and-stock bid valued at US$33.7 billion to buy the American railway, toping CP’s proposal, which had a total price tag of $25 billion.
