Before the rain started to fall Wednesday morning, Olmsted County Sheriff’s Capt. Jonathan Jacobson was ready.
Sitting in the weather station at the Emergency Operations Center, Jacobson watched the computer screens in front of him showing him radar and weather reports from the area, as well as a screen that held the county s emergency alert notification buttons, and another that would allow him to communicate with sheriff’s deputies throughout the county.
