A damaging heavy swell warning remains in force for the coastal areas of Southwest Viti Levu, (coastal areas from Natadola through Coral Coast to Pacific Harbour), Southern coastal areas of Mamanuca Group, Beqa, Kadavu, Vatulele, Moala Group and the Southern Lau Group.
The weather bulletin issued from the National Weather Forecasting Centre in Nadi this morning says the forecast to midnight tonight for the Fiji group, expect sea flooding of the coastal areas of southwest Viti Levu, southern coastal areas of Mamanuca group, Beqa, Kadavu, Vatulele, Moala group and the southern Lau group during high tides.

A strong wind warning is now in force for land areas of eastern half of Vanua Levu, Taveuni and nearby smaller islands and the Lau group.
According to the latest weather bulletin issued from the National Weather Forecasting Centre in Nadi a trough of low pressure remains slow moving over the northern parts of the group.
Forecast to midnight tomorrow for the Fiji group expect fresh to strong northerly winds with average speed of 50km/hr from tomorrow for eastern half of Vanua Levu, Tavenui and nearby smaller islandsand the Lau group.
