Car Crash Victim Had Been Shot, Fond Du Lac Police Investigating By Rob Sussman Feb 5, 2021 6:46 PM FOND DU LAC, WI (WTAQ) A man discovered unresponsive but breathing following a one-vehicle crash in Fond du Lac was suffering a gunshot wound to the leg, and police are trying to figure out why. On Friday February 5, 2021 at about 2:01 a.m., Fond du Lac Police responded to the area of South Marr St at Sheboygan St for what came out as a single vehicle crash. Officers arriving on the scene found a vehicle with substantial damage that had struck a light pole and several parking meters. The driver of the vehicle, a 39-year-old Fond du Lac man, was the lone occupant, and was found unresponsive but breathing.
