Mamelodi Sundowns owner Patrice Motsepe has been cleared to stand for the presidency of the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
Motsepe, along with Mauritania FA president Ahmed Yahya s candidatures were deemed admissible by CAF earlier this month subject to review, which FIFA has now cleared.
The Chairman of the Review Committee of the world football governing body Mukul Mudgal confirmed on Tuesday that Motsepe and Yahya will now compete for the CAF presidency and FIFA vice-presidency at the 43rd Elective General Assembly on March 12 in Rabat, Morocco.
