As COVID-19 cases continue surging in Maine and the first vaccination doses offer some hope, Dr. Nirav Shah, director of the Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention, spoke to health reporter Rose Lundy of The Maine Monitor to reflect on the state’s pandemic response, and outline challenges and opportunities in 2021.
