Encompass Health Corporation EHC completed the purchase of home health and hospice assets of Frontier Home Health and Hospice. The company inked a deal to acquire the assets in April 2021. With the move, nine home health and 11 hospice locations will be included in Encompass Health’s network. This takes the company’s home health and hospice locations to 250 and 93, respectively. For the first quarter ended March 31, 2021, revenue increased 9.3% to $1,546.5 million, compared to $1,414.6 million for the same quarter, prior year. Income from operations increased 57.0% to $202.0 million for the first quarter ended March 31, 2021, compared to $128.7 million for the same quarter, prior year.
