Drivers get 50 cents a gallon discount at Royal Oak Marathon

ROYAL OAK, Mich. (FOX 2) - Driver at the Marathon Gas Station in Royal Oak pulled up for a discount Tuesday thanks to a small business owner and Community Choice Credit Union.
On Tuesday just before Christmas, it was $.50 cents off a gallon of gas at 12 Mile and Crooks in Royal Oak.

The generosity brought the price down to $1.69 a gallon for lucky drivers. This is a good deal, said Rhonda, in from Ohio who was visiting her sister in Warren. Corona don t stop your bills. So I thank this bank.

ROYAL OAK, Mich. (FOX 2) - Just in time for Christmas, you can get deep discounts on your fill up and free gas at a Marathon station in Royal Oak.
Community Choice Credit Union announced it s partnered with the Marathon station at 12 Mile and Crooks in Royal Oak to cover $0.50 per gallon off for every customer between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
The discounts are good until the credit union spends $1,500. That s good for 3,000 gallons of gas.
Not only that, the credit union has $450 in free gas cards to hand out at random.

ROYAL OAK, Mich. (WXYZ) â A Marathon gas station in Royal Oak will offer customers reduced gas prices and free gas cards Tuesday.
Community Choice Credit Union says it will cover the bill for $0.50 off per gallon for every customer, while $1,500 in funds last. The credit union will also randomly pass out another $450 in free gas cards.
The grassroots effort to incentivize the general public to support small businesses in their communities during Christmas week will take place at the Marathon on 12 Mile and Crooks from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Superior Choice Credit Union (SCCU) announced the appointment of Tim Foster as their new president and CEO. Foster will assume the responsibilities on Jan. 18 and will succeed Gary Elliott, who is retiring.
