Austin-based Aunt Bertha, which makes technology to connect people and social services, has raised $27 million to expand its products and add to its team of employees.
The funding round was led by Warburg Pincus and also included from Pershing Square Foundation, Techstars Ventures, Noro-Moseley Partners, Digitalis Ventures and the Social Entrepreneurs Fund.
Aunt Bertha developed and operates findhelp.org, an online platform that connects people around the country with social services, medical services, housing and food resources. The website offers paid and free services aimed at making it easier for people to find services, and helps nonprofits coordinate, and organizations better integrate social care services.
