BANGKOK, May 24 (Bernama): Thailand government has announced that its hospitals have enough hospital beds especially in Bangkok and nearby provinces as the kingdom grapples with a surge in Covid-19 infections.
Deputy government spokeswoman Ratchada Dhanadirek said 61 per cent of 20,652 beds at hospital, field hospitals and hospitals in the capital were occupied.
However, she said about 25,000 beds still available at 12 health zones in Bangkok.
