Deputy director general of the Department of Communicable Diseases Control under the Ministry of Health, Sisavath Soutthaniraxay, told a press conference in Lao capital Vientiane on Monday that the recovered patient is the country s 27th case of COVID-19, who had been treated in the Mittaphab Hospital (Hospital 150) since November 23. On Sunday, a total of 1,997 people entered Laos through international border checkpoints. The temperature of each person entering Laos was checked and no one showed signs of fever.
