The news follows Tuesday night s government meeting at the House of the Estates, where measures to strengthen virus-related restrictions were also discussed. The price tag for the certification system is estimated to be around 3.5 million euros, the paper says. Vaccination certificates will be accessible via the Omakanta online prescription and health records system, which will produce a scannable barcode or QR code.

Thai police summon DJ to face charges over super spreader birthday bash

Police have summoned Techin Ployphet aka DJ Matoom to acknowledge charges for violating the Communicable Diseases Act and Emergency Decree by holding a party on January 9. The current rules are in force until the end of February. The centre-left cabinet submitted the proposed amendment to the Communicable Diseases Act to Parliament on Thursday. The restrictions were temporarily added to the law last May. Timo Lappi, CEO of the Finnish Hospitality Association (MaRa) says the continuation of restrictions is difficult for the industry, but that he was satisfied with Thursday s decision.
