(April 14, 2021) – A new online campaign from African Wildlife Foundation (AWF) is quickly gaining steam, encouraging support among members of Congress to increase FY22 funding requests for international conservation, combating wildlife trafficking programs, habitat protection, and sustainable livelihood efforts. AWF announced today that 7,696 of its global stakeholders have sent letters as part of this growing effort – nearly 16 percent of the 50,000-signers goal. The AWF campaign offers a portal for interested parties to send a letter to their U.S. Representative at https://secure.awf.org/fund-conservation-2021.
