Excelsior Correspondent JAMMU, Apr 30: An expert committee has given several recommendations to the Government to ensure a robust oxygen delivery system in Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu, Government Hospital Gandhi Nagar and Maternal & Child Health (MCH) Hospital Gandhi Nagar. The committee constituted vide Government Order Number 585-IND of 2021 dated 27-04-2021 for conducting audit of condition of Oxygen pipes in GMC Jammu, its Associated Hospitals and Government Hospital Gandhi Nagar visited Medical complexes at Gandhi Nagar and Bakshi Nagar in Jammu on April 27 and 28 and submitted its report to Principal Secretary, Industries and Commerce (I&C) Department, Jammu today. SRINAGAR: Advisor to LG Baseer Khan on Thursday said that Jammu and Kashmir has placed an order of 1.25 crore Covid-19 vaccines, which is the highest in comparison with other states in the country along with stating that there is ample stock of all Covid-19 related medicines including Remdesivir. Surge in cases: Div Com orders establishment of Covid-19 Triage facility in CD Hospital Jammu JAMMU: Divisional Commissioner, Dr Raghav Langar today ordered establishment of COVID-19 Triage Facility in Chest Disease Hospital (CD Hospital) Jammu which shall act as first “contact point” for screening of any COVID Positive patient intending to get admitted in GMC Jammu & Associated Hospitals and other identified dedicated COVID Hospitals under Directorate of Health Services Jammu. As per an order issued in this regard, the move has been taken to rationalize the admission of COVID positive cases in Government Medical College Jammu Associated Hospitals/dedicated COVID Hospitals under Directorate of Health Services Jammu in view of their rise and corresponding increase in the bed occupancy in Government Level-1 COVID Care facilities and in view of the limited Isolation/ ICU/ HDU beds in Level-l facilities.
