Sens. Kelly Loeffler (R-Ga.) and Rand Paul (R-Ky.) and Sen.-elect Roger Marshall (R-Kan.) are also declining to rule it out. The White House is now leaning into the effort, too. Trump promoted a misleading headline suggesting Tuberville had decided, and press secretary Kayleigh McEnany on Thursday night alluded to states’ “alternate slate of electors voted upon that Congress will decide in January.”
