McGowan Government launches ‘Beyond 2020 – WA Youth Action Plan’
$200,000 allocated for the 2020-21 COVID-19 Youth Recovery Grants program
Nominations for the Youth Recovery Grants program open from January 20, 2021 and close on March 18, 2021
The Plan outlines the important first steps the McGowan Government has taken in supporting young people through the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Plan also provides an important foundation and future road map to assist WA youth on the road to recovery and beyond, with the next phase of engagement and planning to focus on the systematic changes required to ensure young people in WA are able to continue to thrive and reach their potential.
The Australian Government is ensuring senior Australians can live at home for longer thanks to additional assistance under the Commonwealth Home Support.

Are you a STEM professional passionate about our sector, and keen to make a difference? Then we need you! Science & Technology Australia is seeking nominations for the STA Board General Cluster Representative position.
To nominate, you must be a member of an STA ordinary member (non-affiliate) in the general science & technology cluster.
We seek outstanding candidates to make an active, thoughtful, skilled and principled contribution to STA, and particularly encourage nominations from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people from culturally diverse backgrounds, LGBTQI individuals and people living with disability.
