A man was shot and wounded in St. Johns on Saturday night, Jna. 23.
The name of the shooting victim was not immediately released. No suspect information was available, either.
Previously, police identified two men shot and killed in Southeast Portland on Jan. 17. They are Frank Gouland, 31, and Adam Kekoa Adams, 28. That case is still under investigation.
In Saturday s shooting, the investigation began around 8 p.m. when North Precinct officers were dispatched to a report of shots fired in the 8900 block of North Lombard Street. When the officers arrived, they found evidence of gunfire.
Officers then learned a man was being driven to a hospital by a private vehicle. He is being treated for serious wounds, but they are not believed to be life threatening.
