Rollout of devices under TATT MOU continues
18th January, 2021, Port-of-Spain: The Ministry of Education, through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Telecommunications Authority of Trinidad and Tobago (TATT) is continuing the distribution of devices to students at public primary and secondary schools across Trinidad and Tobago. The MoU will put ten thousand (10,000) ICT-enabled devices and SIM cards, with data plans, procured by telecom providers Telecommunications Services of Trinidad and Tobago Limited (TSTT) and Digicel (Trinidad & Tobago) Limited, into the hands of students across Trinidad and Tobago.
Since receiving the initial 800 devices last November, students at 40 schools in the examination year-group at primary and secondary levels were the first to receive devices.
