The only way to control the cases is through mass vaccination but there is a huge shortage. Several people who received the first dose of vaccination in the country are yet to receive the second dose of the vaccination due to unavailability. On Sunday evening, the Health Department of Telangana announced that they paused the second dose of vaccination for Covaxin as there is no stock available in the state. G Srinivasa Rao, the Director of Public Health announced that there is no stock for Covaxin and they are yet to receive the doses from the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
